so…

Once upon a time, In a faraway land, in a sort of digital studio was born, even though she was already alive, a Canadian diva called Alanis Morissette.

In her 1st know album, called Jagged Little Pill, on the top of controversial lyrics, one song came to my attention. It is called “You oughta know”. Yep. Good song, strong lyrics.

Ok. There was something special on that all. Yes, there was two Chili Peppers (yes, from the Red Hot) playing on that song. Flea, one of the best bassist ever, and the freak-show David Navaro. I very strong combination.

So, the song

and the bass…

tempo…

Algumas frases do mestre:

O cofre do banco contém apenas dinheiro.

A dor é inevitável

Addiction

So, some people are addicted in cigarettes. Yes, cigarettes. And we know, it can severely damage the lung, causes cancer, heart diseases among other problems. Moreover, it is bad for sex!

Some people are alcoholic.  Yep, alcoholic. They do not even notice while it takes place as it may be a long process. This can damage the liver, cause diabetes, memory problems…on the top of that it is awful for sex.

Some loves game. Beyond loving, addiction. It lets you stuck in front of the TV. Foremost it is dreadful for the sex life!

There are some addicted in sports. It may sound goods at first sight but exaggerating is so dangerous to the bodies. I often hear people at gym saying that they will not have sex to workout better! No need for further comments.

Some people are addicted in work. Workaholics! Unbelievable isnt it? It is a weird sort of addiction. Bad for families but worse, much worse for sex! How can someone…

Ow, there are also some folks addicted in sex, but it is another story…

Dark sacred nights

As the rain falls I keep on thinking and thinking

Some ghosts will always be haunting me

However, they cant bruise me anymore, they cant

As the rain falls I wonder

How many road have I walked in

How many others should I walk

Time flies by, passed me by

As the rain drops

I listen to their rage

The anger can go far beyond the nature

As the rain drops

As the rain drops…

Drifting through my mind

Today, precisely, tonight

Is a sleepwalking time

The world can be so deceiving

As the rain falls

In the dark sacred nights

It is you, my only delight

Enthrall me

Haunt me

Deceive me

But don’t let it be

As the rain falls

In the dark sacred nights

It is you, my only delight

Oldies…

Entao…

It is not olny a changed world, it is a changing world, what makes things far beyond more complex. It is true in the end that USA has to change. The whole world has to change.

It is only the first step in this long road, and i hope it is not gonna be a revolving road. It is good that the americans do not over expect from Obama. They are gonna give him time. One year maybe…

that is all folks,

Obama’s inaugural speech

(some parts)

People hate us. At this time, on this day, they really hate us. Well, actually, they hate you; they quite like me (louder cheers).

So we will have to change to meet a changed world – again I’m talking about you here. It’s you they hate. This will not be easy, or quick, but maybe as they get to see more of me, they’ll start to like you.

terrorist fanatics are out to destroy and we are funding them with our addiction to oil

There is no sunny side of the street, no silver lining (murmurs of: ‘I never thought I’d see the day’). At home, I have nothing to offer you but doom, gloom, depression and recession (cries of ‘O-bama, O-bama’).

We get through these crises not because of the skill or vision of our leaders, but because of the quality of our people. So if we don’t get through this crisis, it’s down to you. We need a new era of responsibility

Yours are the jobs I must sacrifice to save the planet. Yours are the taxes I must raise to save the economy, and yours are the lives I must forgo to keep our nation safe (cries of ‘Hallelujah’). Are you listening to me at all? Thank you. God bless America.
